Magnificent panda experience ahead!
Did you know that the giant panda spends up to 12 hours a day eating and can consume up to 40 kilos of bamboo? Learn even more about this bamboo-eating bear and experience it up close at the zoo. Get ready for wild facts and great stories from one of our zoo guides, who will share lots of information about the pandas and their yin- and yang-inspired enclosure.
After a guided tour with the zoo guide, you will meet a zookeeper who will take you behind the scenes, where you can experience the black-and-white bear at close range. Afterwards, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day at the zoo and explore a wide variety of fascinating animals.
Program
11:00
You will meet a zoo guide by the stairs facing the lake behind the Zoo Tower. From here, you will go on a guided tour on the way to the pandas.
11:30
At the panda enclosure, you will meet with a zookeeper who will take you behind the scenes, where you can experience the pandas up close.
12.00
Together with the zoo guide, you can watch the pandas as they are released into the outdoor enclosure.

Opportunity to enjoy the rest of the day at the zoo and experience lots of exciting animals

Clothing
We recommend wearing practical clothing and footwear. Please note that umbrellas cannot be used in the enclosure. Prams and strollers are not permitted.
