Get to know the wombats and Tasmanian devils
Meet the animal with the very special… droppings! You can get up close to the fascinating wombats, known for their square-shaped droppings, and say hello to the interesting and temperamental Tasmanian devils. Learn more about the zoo’s marsupials and follow the zookeeper into the barn, where you will encounter both wombats and devils up close. The zookeeper will share exciting stories from daily life working with the animals and give you insight into this unique class of animals. Afterwards, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day at the zoo and explore a wealth of fascinating animals.
Program
13:00
A zoo guide will meet you by the stairs facing the lake behind the Zoo Tower, and together you will go on a short guided tour of the Australia area.
13:30
You will meet a zookeeper who will take you into the barn, where you will encounter wombats and Tasmanian devils.
14:00
Opportunity to enjoy the rest of the day at the zoo and discover many exciting animals.
Age limit
Minimum 12 years (the age requirement must be respected).
Number of participants
Maximum 6 people.
Meeting point
By the stairs facing the lake behind the Zoo Tower.
Clothing
We recommend wearing practical clothing and footwear that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather.
Duration
The experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.
